Promoter Requirement Steps For
IKF California Event Sanctioning


  1. APPLY FOR AN IKF CALIFORNIA EVENT PROMOTERS LICENSE
    IKF California Amateur Promoters License / Application Form: $300.00
    • CLICK HERE
      • Failure of a "Non IKF CA Licensed Promoter" to do this before advertising your event will result in a minimum of a $500.00 Fine up to $5,000.00 and or non approval / cancellation of the event!


  2. ONCE APPROVED - MAKE AN OFFICIAL IKF CALIFORNIA EVENT REQUEST

      • Failure of a "IKF CA Licensed" or "Non IKF CA Licensed Promoter" to do this before advertising your event will result in a minimum of a $500.00 Fine up to $5,000.00 and or non approval / cancellation of the event!


  3. ONCE DATE IS APPROVED - APPLY FOR OFFICIAL IKF CALIFORNIA EVENT SANCTIONING

      • Failure of a "IKF CA Licensed" or "Non IKF CA Licensed Promoter" to do this before advertising your event will result in a minimum of a $500.00 Fine up to $5,000.00 and or non approval / cancellation of the event!


  4. ONCE EVENT SANCTIONING IS APPROVED SEND IN THE APPROPRIATE SANCTIONING FEES.
    DATE "RECEIVED" AT IKF OFFICE SHALL BE YOUR FEE FROM THE FEE SCHEDULE BELOW.

    IKF California Sanctioning Fees

    • $300.00 When paid 35 days in advance of your event date - UP TO 12 BOUTS. ADD $20.00 PER BOUT AFTER 12.
    • $500.00 When paid 26-34 days in advance of your event date - UP TO 12 BOUTS. ADD $20.00 PER BOUT AFTER 12.
    • $800.00 When paid 16-25 days in advance of your event date - UP TO 12 BOUTS. ADD $20.00 PER BOUT AFTER 12.
    • $1,000.00 When paid 5-15 days in advance of your event date - UP TO 12 BOUTS. ADD $20.00 PER BOUT AFTER 12.


  5. ONCE ALL IKF SANCTIONING FEES ARE RECEIVED IN FULL
    • YOU ARE NOW ALLOWED TO SUBMIT YOUR EVENT ADVERTISEMENT FOR IKF APPROVAL TO ADVERTISE YOUR IKF CALIFORNIA EVENT.
      • Must be submitted as follows;
        • CSAC REQUIREMENT: ALL "WRITTEN AND OR SOCIAL MEDIA" Event Promotional Advertisements
          (EX: Posters, Fliers, Hand Outs, Social Media Images Programs, etc.)
          and event press release must have the Following on ALL OF THEM:
          (Failure to do so will result in $500.00 "PER ITEM" up to $5,000.00 and or non approval / cancellation of the event!)

          • IKF SANCTIONING LOGO

            • IKF "LOGO" shown at right or Found HERE.

            • IKF LOGO PLACEMENT
              • Logo must be placed in either the top left, top center or centered at the bottom of ALL Event posters or printed media.

            • LOGO SIZE
              • IKF Sanctioning Logo must be Large enough for all viewers to clearly see.
              • IKF Sanctioning Logo should be larger than any event sponsor ad.
              • IKF Sanctioning Logo should be larger than any other sanctioning body logo.

          • IKF WEB ADDRESS
            • The IKF Web Site Address Listed as:
              • www.IKFKickboxing.com Or www.IKFMuayThai.com must be clearly displayed on your advertisement.

          • TITLE BOUTS
            • ALL Publicized IKF Sanctioned titles must be announced as IKF Titles.
            • Titles "Other Than" IKF Titles may be subject to additional Sanctioning fees depending on number of added rounds.
            • Titles "Other Than" IKF Titles may be subject to additional OFFICIALS fees depending on number of added rounds.

      • ALL "VOICE" Advertisement Announcements (Radio Commercials or Any Audio Announcements etc.) must contain;
        1. The phrase "Sanctioned by the IKF." and or " IKF Muay Thai" and or " IKF Kickboxing"
        2. ALL IKF Sanctioned titles must be announced as an IKF Title.

      • All VIDEO / YOUTUBE and or TV Advertisements
        Or production of an IKF Sanctioned Event as well as all post event Results such as event DVD's or Videos must have;
        • "This is an IKF Sanctioned Event" or "Sanctioned by The IKF" or " IKF Kickboxing" and or " IKF Muay Thai" and or " IKF Kickboxing" Mentioned on them.
        • ALL IKF Sanctioned titles must be announced as an IKF Title.
          • Failure of a "IKF CA Licensed" or "Non IKF CA Licensed Promoter" to do this before advertising your event will result in a minimum of a $500.00 Fine up to $5,000.00 and or non approval / cancellation of the event!


  6. PREPARING FOR YOUR IKF SANCTIONED EVENT

    • IKF EVENT MATCHMAKING
      • If this is your first "FULL CONTACT" Promotion, we recommend you use a seasoned IKF Approved Matchmaker or Event Consultant.
      • If you have Promoted at least 3 Successful "FULL CONTACT" style Promotions you will be allowed to matchmake your own event.

    • IKF EVENT REQUIREMENTS
      • GLOVES
        • Gloves must be PRE-Approved by the IKF a minimum 10 days prior to the event.
          • Gloves shall be whole, clean, in sanitary condition and subject to inspection by the referee or the IKF representative at the event.
          • Any gloves found to be unfit shall be immediately discarded and replaced with gloves meeting the above requirements.

        • Promoter shall provide fighting gloves for each fighter.
          • A Minimum of 6 pairs of 10 ounce gloves. This could be more depending upon the number of bouts.
            • This will prevent long waits between bouts for gloving up and provide an additional pair in case someone cuts the gloves or laces or a pair is damaged in a bout.

        • ALL AMATEUR WORLD Title bout Gloves MUST be "NEW" and sealed in the Manufacturer's packaging.


      • EVENT MEDICAL REQUIREMENTS
        • Minimum of 1 Medical Doctor (MD or DO)
          • IKF will usually appoint TWO doctors for your event.
          • For Medical Doctor duties CLICK HERE.
        • Must also have Ambulance parked at event at all times.
          • There will be a minimum of ONE licensed Paramedics and ONE EMT's in attendance at the event.
            Both can be Paramedics, but you need to have a MINIMUM of ONE Paramedics. NOT Two EMT's.

        • Must also have Oxygen and stretcher at ringside for medical emergencies.

      • RING SET UP
      • IKF EVENT OFFICIALS
      • A minimum of two separate spaces for fighters to warm-up in.

      • Ice AND Water to offer all Fighters.

      • Ring Announcer.

      • Event Security.

      • All additional needs to support an event, venue, fighters, hotel rooms etc. Contact the IKF if these areas are un-clear.

      • WEIGH-INS
        • The Weigh-ins and Rules Meeting should both be scheduled on the day prior to your event.
        • However, with IKF Approval, same day weigh-ins can be allowed.
        • Promoter must have "Calibrated" Scale on a HARD surface (Not Carpet)
        • Promoter must have 2 tables set up for IKF Officials and the Event Doctor doing Pre Fight Medical work.

    • IKF CALIFORNIA FIGHTERS MEDICAL INSURANCE REQUIREMENTS
      Minimum Requirement: $20,000.00 - SEE INFO BOXES BELOW FOR INSURANCE DETAILS AND CHOICES.



      FIGHTER MEDICAL INSURANCE
      The IKF Event Promoter must provide proof of their
      fighter medical Insurance by faxing a cover page of their insurance to the
      IKF Headquarters (916-663-4510) prior to their event.
      The IKF Event Promoter must also have the entire insurance coverages,
      original paperwork available to show the IKF Event Representative.
      If Promoter has not faxed to the IKF Headquarters a copy of
      "Proof of Fighter Medical Insurance"
      and or cannot show any proof of such insurance to the
      official IKF Event Representative prior to the event,
      the event will be cancelled immediately by the IKF Event Representative.

  7. PAYMENT OF OFFICIALS
    Promoter is required to pay ALL IKF Officials Fees in Cash or Cashiers Checks to the IKF Event Representative
    directly after the event weigh-ins and before the Official event Rules meeting.
    This would include each Officials wage for working your event and any travel fees they may have (Gas, food, hotel etc.)


  8. IKF WORLDWIDE SANCTIONING, TITLE SANCTIONING AND TITLE BELTS.


These Are General Requirements
Keep In Mind There Are MANY MORE As An event Promoter.

Whenever the IKF Letters, Name and or Logo is used in ANY Printed, Video, TV, Audio or Voiced Publication, Advertisement etc. etc. the www.IKFKickboxing.com web address must ALWAYS be listed with it.
Failure to do this will result in a $500.00 fine to the event promoter.
