AMATEUR KICKBOXING TOURNAMENT
SEEDING
All
LAST YEARS WC Champions STILL NEED TO REGISTER to fight at this years
IKF World Classic.
Champions "DO NOT" have to register at a regional seeding
event to be seeded for the IKF
World Classic. However, if they choose to register and fight at a
regional seeding event, they automatically lose their automatic top seeded
position. Seeding positions are determined as follows:
- TOP SEED IN DIVISION: Previous years
IKF Tournament Champion in the Same Rule
Style & Same Weightclass.
- Winner at a Regional Seeding Tournament in
their region - Must be an actual Regional bout in the weightclass for both
fighters. Not just a matched-up win.
- Followed by a fighter at a Regional Seeding Tournament that may have won 1,
lost 1, won 2 lost 1 etc.
- Fought in a Regional Seeding Tournament but lost.
- Registered for a Regional Seeding Tournament but did not have a fight.
- Had a Regional Seeding Tournament in their area but due to hardships or
personal issues, could not attend and Registered as a Regional BYPASS Fighter.
- Date of Registration.
- If a Tie on Day RECEIVED, the tie will be broken by Earliest date
registration was POSTMARKED to IKF.
- Followed by proven and or verified fight record.
- PRIOR TO FIRST DEADLINE: If no Regional registered fighters,
fighter's will be seeded according to *WHEN
their registration form was RECEIVED at the IKF
Office.
- (*) This seeding use to go to the
fighter with the better confirmed fight record.
However, in 2010, we discovered several fighters who registered with false
records. So this is the only fair way to register all fighters. This being
said, "Get your registration form & photo in EARLY!"
- If a Tie on Day RECEIVED, the tie will be broken by Earliest date
registration was POSTMARKED to IKF.
- AFTER FIRST DEADLINE
All fighters will be seeded according to WHEN their
registration is received.
