IKF UK FULL CONTACT
FEBRUARY 13th, 2008
We are now launching the new IKF/UK Amateur Full contact rankings. These will be updated on a regular basis and we welcome any input, suggestions and of course information from anyone regardless of possible political affiliation. This should be sent in confidence to ikfuk.fullcon@hotmail.co.uk The IKF is very much behind the whole concept of a proper divide between the professional and amateur fighters. These rankings are ONLY open to amateur fighters.

  • The IKF/UK criteria for amateur bouts are:
    • 3 rounds with headguard.
    • Amateur title fights will be 5 rounds with headguard.
    • All fights outside this criteria (In The United Kingdom) are considered to be PRO fights.
      • IKF Allows amateurs in some regions of the world to fight without headgear.
    • Fighters in the rankings or those looking to gain entry at some future date should make sure that they maintain their amateur status. Fighters taking part outside of this criteria may well find themselves ineligible for ranking.
    • The development of the amateur structure is the most important factor in the future development of Full contact. The IKF supports this 100%!

If you find something within our rankings (Fight record, contact info, weight, age etc.) that needs to be updated or corrected, please e-mail us at Ranking Update -Click HERE- with the new info. So If you encounter a DISCONNECTED or WRONG Phone number, PLEASE inform us by e-mail at Ranking Update -Click HERE- so that we can try to register the correct number. X= This X in the Ranking slot next to a fighters name indicates that this fighter is either, 1: A fighter who registered with the IKF through the mail and DID NOT include a video of their fighting ability. 2: Their skill is known and they are Not considered skilled enough to be ranked number 1, 2 or 3. However, they appear in the position above since their division did not have any 1, 2 or 3 ranked-skilled fighters and/or not enough fighters in their division.

#/F=Number of wins by FORFEIT. Opponent dropped out within 48 hours of event, didn't show at weigh-ins or didn't make weight at weigh-ins.
