could someone, hopefully someone who has fought in the wcl, please give a specific list of what techniques are/are not allowed in the league. such as leg kicks- inside/outside? front and/or rear, knees- face and/or body? clinch or no clinch? etc. If anyone has the time i would greatly appreciate it. as im sure you know the wcl site is not real clear on this issue. thanks again.

The WCL rules state that you may throw any punch or kick above the waist. Examples front kick, round kick, side kick, spinning back kick, cartwheel kick, jab , cross, hooks, back fist, spinning backfist. Below the waist round kicks only three inches above the knee inside or outside of the thigh no teeps. No kicks or sweeps below the knee. Knees are allowed anywhere above the waist. There is no clinching. If a fighter clinches a penalty point is awarded to the other team. You may grab and knee anywhere above the waist. This is not a neck wrestle. You cannot grab and turn him jockey for position turn him and then knee. You can grab him as the knee strike is on it way to the target. The first season was the inagural season where they worked out the bugs. In the episodes being shown on VS. now you see the fighters are wearing boots and cannot grab and knee and are only allowed to kick the lead leg. Now the rules are as I stated you may kick either leg inside or outside, base or lead leg three inches above the knee. You may grab and knee. Foot pads are no longer worn only shinguards. When the new season begins fighters will fight once a month in a six month season.

I don't know any details other than more teams could be added to make a longer season for television.
