Well,
Since I am the fight geek, and I have a thirst for the knowledge from the chalice of the fight game, plus I need to keep my fans happy, I thought I better ask fighters some questions here.

1. Mr. Bartinelli: What color hair will you have for the Zach Day fight? I like the black mop top, but the old pictures have a seemingly highlighted tint, (I hope you stick with the black mop top. I shave my head so I shouldn't talk.)

2. Mr. Bartinelli: A follow up question. I miss your trash talking on here. It was exciting to see. Where have you been?

3. What is your prediction for the Zach Day fight?

4. Your favorite action movie or two?

Now to Mr. Day,

1. What are the keys to success for your training after the age of 35?

2. Any rituals or superstitions you go through the day before or the day of the fight?

3. Since we all know fighters focus on only one fight at a time, my question is, What are your fight plans for after this fight?

4. Your favorite action movie or two?

thanks!

Geek,
1)Well since I am actually 40, the question becomes, WHY do I still train like this? But really, Ray Thompson put it best, I am just a samurai at heart, and I have always competed highly at something athletic, all my life. I was fighting thru a f***ed up childhood, to start my life, now I just put it into an arena. And I refuse to lose, or concede.
2)No rituals at all, I am one of those people who tries to sleep as much as possible, I don't get butterflies anymore.
3)After the fight, I am flying to Antwerp, Belgium to visit my new girlfriend, who is a singer, and she is there. I will train with some Muay Thai guys while there, the best kickboxers come from there- Belgium, Netherlands, etc.
4)Probably Gladiator, and The Last Samurai, for obvious reasons. Although Dude, Where's My Car appeals to me for different reasons of physical endurance from my past.

Hope you can make it to the fight, Geek, or at least see it on the internet.

BLACK, BROWN OR BLONDE OR ALL OF THE ABOVE

I'VE BEEN GETTING READY FOR THE FIGHT AND THE MESSAGE BOARD SUCKS NOW.

3. What is your prediction for the Zach Day fight?

ARE YOU SERIOUS

4. Your favorite action movie or two?

I DON'T REALLY LIKE ACTION MOVIES. I LIKE COMEDY MOVIES. LIKE, FAST TIMES... AND OTHERS.

Phoenix, AZ. Be on the lookout for Anthony Bartinelli. Bartinelli has been recently observed impersonating a kickboxer. Reports have surfaced that his mouth is writing checks that his butt can’t cash. Recently, he was spotted at the Arizona Mills Mall, outside of the arcade, trying to give away autographed pictures of himself.

While he is believed to be more of a danger to himself than to others, authorities have been contacted. He is described as a white male, with multi-colored hair, a big mouth, not much heart, and a glass jaw. If you should come into contact with Bartinelli, you are advised to be agreeable to all of his claims, as he cannot be dissuaded from his delusions, and will usually move on once you agree that he is “powerful.”

It is believed that Bartinelli plans to travel to Simpsonville, SC, on November 6. In an effort to protect the citizens of Simpsonville from Bartinelli's dim wit and self-promotion, Zack Day has been dispatched to knock him back to AZ. Zack has done the training, viewed the footage, developed the plan, and even enlisted the sparring help of several well-known champion kickboxers, including Randy Pogue. It is widely believed that Bartinelli’s lack of kickboxing activity, poor record away from AZ, long string of boxing losses, and general delusions of grandeur, will leave him susceptible to the relentless “Zack Attack.” This should put to rest any worries the general public may have about Bartinelli coming to their town with his glossy 8x10’s.
November 6 will tell the tale! The Bartinelli house of cards comes tumbling down throught the skill and will of Zack Day.

YOUR TOUGH BEHIND YOUR COMPUTER. KEEP DODGING ME AND TALKING ****. YOU HAVE NO IDEA, NOR DOES ZACK DAY. I'M NOT ON HERE TO TALK **** TO ANYONE. NOBODY ON THIS MESSAGE BOARD HAS A CLUE WHAT I'M ABOUT. I FOUGHT VERY HARD FOR WHAT I HAVE . BRING IT ON! ZACK AND RANDY IN THE SAME NIGHT. WHETHER YOU LIKE ME OR HATE ME, DOESN'T MATTER. I DON'T DODGE ANYONE, UNLIKE RANDY POUGE. THAT'S WHY YOU BROUGHT UP ZACK DAY FOR ME TO FIGHT. TO GET THE WEIGHT OFF YOUR SHOULDERS AND ON TO SOMEONE ELSES. I'LL GLADLY SEND YOU A VIDEO TAPE OF THE FIGHT, HONEY. HOPEFULLY YOU'LL BE THERE TO WATCH AND SEE YOUR SIGNIFICANT OTHER GET BEAT DOWN.

I hope both fighters fight hard, but my prediction is for my fellow Georgia fighter Zack to be victorious!

P.S.
Randy are you having your eye surgery this year? I'm going to try and have that myself this winter...

Randy and Anthony,
Man, you guys need to start planning to fight on my show in May. Immediatly after my show in two weeks (Nov 6th to be exact) I will start working on putting you two together. Much love to both of you, but i can't wait to see this fight. All you promoters out there I call dibs on this one. Wit and Passion is the order of this thread. :) :)
