View Full Version : 2009 IKF Illinois Events?

I was wondering if the IKF plans to hold any events in Illinois this year. Specifically this summer or early fall? I have been training for MMA mainly (though I am a KF stylist) but would love to fight in Kickboxing again. (FCR, IR, MT, doesn't matter).

Is anything being done to promote Kickboxing here in Illinois?

There is plenty of kickboxing in Illinois. Look up Rob Zilbiski of Team Z and you'll find some contact info. Rob is a promoter is Illinois and puts on a few shows a year.

Unfortunately, no I will not be attending worlds this year.

Between Illinois, Iowa, Minnesota, and Wisconsin you should not have trouble finding a fight. If you're having trouble in that area you either don't want to fight or you're blind.

Minnesota, Iowa, and northern Wisconsin are too big of travels.

Illinois would be find, yet I never see events promoted out here. Plus where in Wisconsin are events being promoted.

I have contacted him. I heard he's promoting MMA right now.
