We have tracked an "UNWANTED" guest on our Message Board.
Seems this individual has been making a habit of viewing our http://www.ikfkickboxing.com/wwwboard/images/misc/question_icon.gif Admin Control Panel. The IP Address of this person is:
209.237.238.181

With the hacker problems on the last board, you can understand why we are making a public point of noting this. He has spent "A LOT" of time over the last few days. Lucky for us, on this new Board, it allows us to watch his every move.

As of this post, 5:30 PM Pacific time, he is still there.

Search the IP and this comes up cached:

Alexa Internet Web Navigation Service

Question:
Why is Alexa crawling my site?
Crawling

Alexa Internet's crawler gathers data from hosts that could potentially serve web data.

Alexa is a free Web navigation service that works with people's browsers and accompanies them as they surf, providing useful information about the sites they are viewing and suggesting related sites.

Alexa Internet is crawling the contents of the publicly available portion of the World Wide Web to provide this free service to Internet users.

For more information on why we crawl and how to exclude our robots from crawling your site at the html and server levels, please go to http://pages.alexa.com/company/technology.html.

Question:
What should I do if I don't want Alexa to crawl my site?
Crawling

Alexa does not wish to crawl anything you want to remain private. All you have to do is tell us. How? By using a simple robots.txt file. Robots.txt files are the most widely used standard on the Web for telling crawlers where they should and should not go on your site. All major crawlers respect these robots.txt files, including those from Google, AltaVista, Inktomi, etc. There is extensive information about how to create a robots.txt file on our site at http://pages.alexa.com/help/webmasters/index.html.
