Has anyone ever noticed that in the upper right-hand corner of the screen, right below your name, is the underlined phrase "Private Messages"? Apparently, if there is a number, 1 or higher, to the right of that phrase, it means that a secret message has been left just for you. I've found that clicking on this phrase takes me me to the special secret message place, where you can read all the messages left by your friends. You can even reply to those messages, and only your special secret pal can read them. I've got a really cool idea. Let's all go and check our "PRIVATE MESSAGES." We can reply to all those messages, and then meet back here. Ready, 1, 2, 3, GO!

LMAO!

Randy, you are a riot. I always enjoy seeing a post from you because I know it will either have words of wisdom or words of humor, sometimes both.

I have a question-I have seen some people refer to you as "The professor", why is that? It's obvious you are very intelligent, but do you also have one of those expensive pieces of paper hanging on your wall that says you is a smart one? Or is your education mainly from the school of hard knocks?

I read an article that the reason RP is called the Professor is that growing up he got straight A's in school, and that since his favorite show was Gilligans Island he would dress exactly like the Professor EVERY day. Kids would tease him and he started Martial arts to woop their behinds.

Not many people know this, but RP's entrance music for his fights is the Gilligans Island theme. When it gets to the line, "the Professor and MaryAnn" he drops and does the splits and flexes his biceps.

I know...odd, but he is a winner.

PS I actually have no idea and was wondering the same thing.

YOU, Jason, are good! How did you find all that stuff out? I must admit, much of that is untrue, or at least exaggerated. I never got straight A's, EVER. I got straight C minuses for most of my academic career. I made honor roll ONE marking period in my entire academic career, just so my mother would stop whining about it and let me go back to sleeping my way through school. To this very day, many of the desks at PSU still have my drool residue on them.

I stopped dressing like the Professor after 7th grade. The pressure was to great, and my karate wasn't strong enough to handle multiple attackers at that age. It is something I now excel at, though. And yes, it's true, I did have a thing for Maryann.

As far as dropping and doing the splits, that is something I have never done in my entire martial arts career. It is on my TO-DO list, but historically, my flexibility stinks.

Does that answer your questions?

Not to laugh at my own jokes, (someone has to)
but,

Announcer's voice : "In the red corner weighing in at 178 pounds Randy Tthe Professor Pogue."

Cue Music: "Just sit right back and you'll hear a tale, a tale of a fateful trip........"

Well, before this fun stuff becomes legend, let me set the record straight. This guy that used to work my corner was training a couple of amateurs. He gave them names like "The Schoolboy," and stuff like that. I think it was a combination of me not having a ring name, being a pro, going to college, and generally always asking questions and trying to get to the bottom of what the purpose was for everything, that he started calling me "the professor." It seemed like a better ring name than "Big Dick Magee" or "The Fluffer," so I went with it. Anyway, I tried to get that name for an email address, but it was taken, so I misspelled it. When I started communicating with promoters via email, they thought that's how I wanted it spelled, and started putting it on fight posters incorrectly.

There. I said it. Since Craig isn't going to check his private messages anyway, I'll change subjects. Ginger, Maryann, or Mrs. Howell?

Are you serious, Randy B?? Mary Ann?? I see you as more of a "Ginger" type... she has a larger chest and is more seductive. The only exposure poor little Mary Ann probably has gotten to life was watching the farm animals.... oh, ok, now I see why you chose her! :p

NAH! It's because Mary Ann has a "boyish" side to her. Remember that night at Ruby's when that guy grabbed Randy's ass?? He was kinda "Mary Ann lookin' and I heard through the g****vine that ole Randy B said he kinda liked the feel that guy (of he/she) copped. Ha!

AH HA! You were posting as we posted. Your "And Ginger" didn't come up til just now!

Sorry Randy, we owe you an apology. Isnt that what the big "thing" is to do these days? Say something totally stupid then apologize? :D

Ok, you can pick Mary Ann AND Ginger, as long as you don't throw Mrs. Howell in there too! That would be totally gross!

Mary Ann, Ginger, or Mrs. Howell? and what exactly are you picking one of them to do?? Bake Cookies? Back Rub? Belly Dance?

Gee, I'm sorry Craig. I just figured that the 5 days this post appeared as the lead thread would have tipped you off. I know, your name is only written once in the title, but I did put it in all capitals for you. Next time I'll shoot off a flare, or engage the bat signal, something like that.
