Uhh..forewarning: If you jump in on this thread, be prepared for Pam's dreams. Let me tell you, she has some off the wall, weird ones, and what is even more weird is she can describe them all in detail.

ummm...I don't think I'm ready for Peterson dreamland. I don't need to hear about you two on a boat, covered in baby oil, eating beef jerky, etc.

Uhh...no worries mate, Pam's dreams never include her and I together. It always seems to be some other woman, problem is, I never get to meet her.

LMAO!!! Pete!!!!
RP, just to clarify this one, Pete means I dream of him hitting on other women, not me with other women, although I'm sure you guys, being male, would like it better if it were two women!
and sorry to burst your bubble, but Pete thinks beef jerky stinks, however, one of our students brought some deer jerky and he wouldn't share it!
and no baby oil, he isn't into fun things like that ;)

We are getting dumped on right at the moment. I found out this morning that if you have the snowblower spout facing into the wind, bad things happen....
My favorite childhood memory is of getting baby oil rubbed on my behind....

yea, it's still coming down. They said a couple hours ago that we hvae 7inches on the ground, but to be honest, it doesn't look that bad. Traffic is still moving. We are expecting 5 more inches later this afternoon and evening and then a couple more tonight. Total should be around 16 by morning. Fun, fun

Isn't the snow blower thing kinda like peeing in a fan to take a shower?
Ok, the childhood thing, that is borderline sick!

Wow Geek, I'd say you are more then "pickled". LOL. Haven't you ever seen that list of what they use coke products for? Eating stuff off of batteries, taking bugs off of windows, cleaning toilets........... yew! oh well, I guess we're both in the same boat, I opt for diet coke too, if given a choice. LOL

I Seriously want to make it to Dublin before Aug 2006,
in any event
I am not sure if it is open to Europeans, but we can just say you are from St. Paul, as I think there are more Irish*here than in Dublin....ok, maybe not,
but maybe the ikf can open it up to amatuers from the world who want to*walk the walk.

They should, most other organizations have a worlds tournament, even every 2 years, we always send a team of 40-50 fighters to the WAKOs. Lots of very competitive fighters from the eastern european countries, Russia, Belarus, Ukraine Poland etc!! A very high amateur standard!! But it would be cool if IKF opened it up to European nations!! I'm up for walkin the walk!!

FROM IKF
There is a very simple reason the IKF has not moved forward with an Amateur World Championships.
Here in North America, we have a pretty good handle on who is amateur and who is pro. However, this is not the case in Mainland Europe. We know for a fact that all the groups currently doing "WORLD Championship Tournaments" allow PRO FIGHTERS to fight. This is because most in europe call a pro fighter a fighter that does kickboxing full time, for a living. VERY DIFFERENT than what we classify an amateur as.
WAKO is WELL KNOWN for mixing amateurs and pros in the ring. It's no mystery and no surprise news. Also, the Muay Thai World Championships have done it too and past articles have documented such.
Every year we have a lot of teams wanting to enter our IKF Tournament. However, we have no idea what their background is. It's not that fighters in North America are agraid of them, it's just that we believe the AMATEURS should be on a fair platform. In addition it is not uncommon for a lot of amateurs from Europe to have 50-80 fights, and some may have been Pro fights.
Others here can verify this due to their travel overseas as well as their experiance of fighting fighters here in the USA from Europe. i'm sure others have stories, truthful ones they can share.

Hi Admin,
I cant vouch for any of the other nations team, but any of the irish teams i've fought on have been strictly amateur, even at the WAKOs. Maybe we were at a disadvantage but we always hold our own and ahve won quite a few medals.
