this new message board is alright but it needs some excitement of some kind!!! a good rivalry or some trash talking might help!!! i dont know it just seems like everyone is just trying to be nice instead of speaking there minds!! i know the board was redone to get rid of no name posters but they did make it more fun!!!! i have yet to see 1 person talk trash or hype up a fight!! maybe we all need to loosen up a little!!! well thats it!! peace out!! mouth of the south

Check out the WKA world Championships thread. We need to get more IKF champions out there. Hell, next year, it's in Canada!!

Oh, and she only wears the boots because it distracts you from the fact that she's 500lbs!!!!! ;)

Mouth of the South,
That is exactly what Steve Fossum was afraid of. People not speaking there mind because they might have to reveal who they really are. The only one that knows who you are would be the message board police. So all you timid posters out there go ahead and speak your peace. If you get out of hand the PO-LEESE will contact you and give you a slap on the wrist or maybe the head and no one else will know about it but you and the PO-LEESE.

I have another idea that only requires some good promoter. Go ahead and shoot me down again, but ideas are where it starts.

The WKA Super Heavyweight World Championship title is vacant. The number one contender listed is Almaz Gismeev (Russia) (?). Why not have Mark Selbee and Almaz Gismeev fight for both the IKF and WKA titles? If kickboxing could get dynamic heavyweights fighting regularly again in full contact it might bring back the fans! The WKA clearly needs some help in promoting heavyweight fighters. They still have Dennis Alexio listed as an Intercontinenal Champion and he hasn't fought for the WKA in over 6 years!

I live in Santa Monica, CA now and don't have the cash to rent the civic center. If I ever strike it rich I'll get into the promotion business. :D

I dont understand why people are afraid to speak their minds without hiding their identity! I mean c'mon people! This is america!! the land of the free speech! I have gained a lot of respect for several people on the board, simply because they are NOT afraid to post their thoughts and let everyone know it's their thoughts!

As long as everyone posts WITH respect, we can have really worthwhile debates without slamming each other. Who said you can't "spar" verbally without getting nasty? Anyone of intelligence knows a debate is a debate and posting your opinions does NOT mean anyone has to get heated  or take it personal. oh wait, this is a fighter's forum! it's all taken personal, even messages not meant for that person! LOL!!! j/k :D

and mouth of the south............ not only does your momma wear combat boots, but she is sooooooooooooooooooooooooooo big, if she'd jump in the air, she'd get stuck!

Cornstalks?!?!?! AH!
I will have you know, we have all kinds of things to fight! We have cattle, sheep, pigs... you name it! ;)

We shave the corn stalks down and use them for Kali Sticks! LOL.

You need to come to Iowa and see the sites!
