Has anything been decided on the locaiton for the 2005 North American Classic yet?

Is there a way for the Admin to take off the bad language controls or at least change the options so it is not taking "*ss" out of ALL words?

I see the "*ss" problem got solved. Thanks.

Now concerning the 2005 NAC.... Are there any tentative dates and/or locations set yet? Do you have a deadline set for when this information will be announced?

Like in previous years, the date and location will be announced sometime between November 1st and January 15th.
We are currently reviewing over 50 mailed in location requests with over 100 more still coming in. We are also looking at "A LOT" of locations physically.http://www.ikfkickboxing.com/wwwboard/images/smilies/eek.gif

Thanks for the reply! http://www.ikfkickboxing.com/wwwboard/images/smilies/smile.gif

On the old message board, someone had said they had personally spoke to you and you had it narrowed down and would be announcing it soon.

No one had said it was usually November before it was announced.

Don't suppose you can give us an idea of some of the locations you are considering? http://www.ikfkickboxing.com/wwwboard/images/smilies/biggrin.gif

A list of possible locations would be great. The sooner the better. Give teams as much time as possible to make fundraising plans etc. I know it takes a lot of coordination but I know my team appreciates as much time as possible to make plans. We really had to scramble to make it to Orlando, and want to continue to increase our number of fighters that come to the tournament. We have been coming to the tournament since 2000 and our team has grown continually. We appreciate the IKF's efforts for the good of the sport.

Ok, so last time I posted this, this message board category was deleted, and my post was somehow dropped. So here it is again:

I'm not trying to stir the pot, or start trouble, but...
Steve announced in Orlando that there may be a possibility of purchasing a fight tape from the 2004 NAC, even though they'd be pricey.

I'd like to know if this possibility still exists. If it does, great, count me in, and let me know how much my dad has to fork over for the tape (hee hee). If not, just let me know, and forget I ever even brought it up.

Thanks!
Jenna

IKF is working with the producer Tim Bachman to see when he will have time to get tapes out. Even IKF is having delays in getting the needed info and IKF does not even have any of the videos of the event yet. As soon as they are available steve said they will make sure to post the info on the news page and here on the message board. I think Ray Thompson was also helping to get someone else to assist in editing the tapes for those who wanted to buy one, but again, since it will take time to sort through the videos, the fees may be pretty high, like around $50-$100.

Wow, getting the video completed for this event will be a HUGE job! I have received many emails inquiring about the official video after posting some of the fights on AggressionTV.com

When the IKF receives the Master Tapes, I would like to offer my services to edit them and make them available at an affordable price. Please contact me and we'll get rolling on this project!
