Great Idea. Can the IKF organize such an event as the North Americans? Then alternate continents to have winners face off.

so do you get a walkover win? well, let's see how the planning goes for the US v. Canada north americans goes for NYC. what weight are you consistently fighting at?

i hear about the scarcity of opponent's. seems like only a couple of us out there with a good level of experience. then some younger guys who are still growing, but not too many fights under their belts. not many 18 year olds with 4 fights want to take on a 30+ guy with a few dozen. just isn't fair. http://www.ikfkickboxing.com/wwwboard/images/smilies/biggrin.gif

let me know about the pro decision too...grappling with that myself and may see about next spring after a couple more amateur bouts.

I fight at featherweight or super featherweight. I am not sure if this gives me a walk over, but yes, it would be interesting to see who goes to the NA's. they didn't have someone for me at last years NA's(WKA) we'll see what comes up this year. http://www.ikfkickboxing.com/wwwboard/images/smilies/wink.gif

Cool. I think we might meet up then. I'm at featherweight. Last year stepped up to lightweight to have a fight at 130. My last was at 123. I hope it happens and they pull the event together.
