Looks like a great Tournament lined up in "sunny" Florida. But what is going on with Virginia? come on! so far there is only 3 fighters registered... last year there was like 50 (lol, not literarily but close).

There was such a BIG turn out at the Central East Regionals for VA.... I know more than 3 folks walked away with the Top seed position.

It's time to stir that bowl of gossip and bring the NAC Boards to a roaring boil.

Yeah, I am puzzled there are so few people registerd from Virginia. We should ask Steve F. to discount the late fees if at least 15 people register from VA. It is my home state and I know you guys can fight. Whoever knows the coaches in this state please make some phone calls.

Maybe Steve got so many registrations the last day that he is still working on all of them over the weekend. I know he should have gotten ours by Friday and we're not posted yet either.

Just an idea, but if the IKF took advantage of the website and allowed electronic registration, it would make things so much easier and faster for everyone especially the IKF! They could have the registration page automatically update itself by having the specified fields from the registration pages automatically transfer over to the registration pages. They would save HOURS typing stuff in themselves. Even if they just did a copy and paste of info from the submissions they receive through a form on the website. Payment would be submitted electronically and he would have the money instantly, no more messing with checks. Fighters photos could be attached, and posted with their registration, to make it more interesting. Again, just a suggestion that would save lots of man hours and money.

"Pammypanda1":
I think your right.... on both accounts... there is most likely a LARGE number for forms that are still being processed by the IKF. And electronic registration and payment.... now that is a GREAT IDEA!

Snail mail.... well it is just that, snail mail. And in my opinion, it is no more secure than the net and causes 2 times the stress... waiting and worrying that it wasn't lost or needed another 12 cents worth of stamps on it... (I know that you can weigh them at the post office :))

If we are taking a poll for who is all for the Electronic Registration.... I'll cast my vote for HECK YEAH!

VA Fighters:
I saw some new VA cats on the Registered list.... Little D-Man JR. , Big Raphael Bayona (I believe it's misspelled on the Registered List) and of course.... THE MAN .... RETURNING TO DEFEND HIS 2004 I.K.F. NAC Light Middleweight Title.... STEVE "THE WARRIOR" MANN!

On that note.... a question for the IKF :
Steve Mann is listed as just a "Registered Fighter".... Shouldn't he be listed as the "DEFENDING CHAMPION"? I am just trying to make sure that he gets that TOP SEEDED Position he worked so hard for last year, fighting 3 Tough Fights against 3 GREAT Fighters. Or is he in a different weight class and that’s why he is not listed as the Defending Champ?

Getting psyched... And I am not even going... With my luck, this will be the BEST NAC Ever and folks will talk about for years as I kick myself for not being able to make it to "Hurricane Alley"

Sincerely,

Chris Bergstrom

Finally, getting back in the hunt. :) Get those registration forms in, VA, cause Illinois and Iowa are REPRESENTING this year!
Illinois at 25 and Iowa at 18.... as of 7/27 at 6am (EST) .

Now only if NY would WAKE UP! and send some fighters.... I know they have GREAT Fighters upstate... just at a loss as to why there are currently ZERO Fighters willing to represent their state.

And I have to send my support to Jenna Droluk, cause she is representing for PA. If she is from Pitt (my hometown) then even MORE love. GO GET EM and bring a belt back home.
