Shannon Hudson injured in accident

Remember Shannon"The Cannon" Hudson in your prayers tonight. About 1 am this morning Shannon was riding home with his friend Brian when a drunk driver came into their lane and hit them head on. Brian has already left the hospital with an ankle and knee injury. Shannon had a dislocated finger and some fluid in his abdomin. Shannon is in intense pain and the hospital wants to keep him for observation. Kevin told me if his the fluid in Shannon's abdomin does not go away soon they may need to do surgery. He is pretty tough though with a few prayers I think he will be okay. The drunk driver is in critical condition. Every bone in his face is broken. The doctors are not sure if he will make it. It probably wouldn't hurt to pray for him too.

I spoke with Shannon yesterday and he is back home now. Although, he still has the fluid in his abdomen the doctor's ran test and said he will be ok.

Hello Shannon,
You're not very lucky these days : eliminated in Basel because of a stupid bureaucratic mess and now a car crash ! Anyway, I'm glad to read that you are more or less all right. I wish you a full and quick recovery and I hope to see you in great shape next month if, as I hope, I'm able to take one or two weeks vacation and to cross the pond in order to see the fall foliages. Hey Guys, I think someone was reading through and found an old thread and thought it was a recent one. Shannon did have a car accident but it was in October of 2004. He has made a complete recovery and actually has had three fights since his recovery. He is now training hard for his first pro fight October 8th is Dallas. I called his brother to make sure and everything is fine.
