Glad to see some IKF fighters at the KICK event. I ended up fighting in the FCR. I went 1-1 with 1KO. Very fun weekend, nice meeting Ronnie Copeland and Big Ron Hilton.

Same here PJ. It was good to meet you also and you're right it was a good time. I would have liked to have seen you and the Prince of Qatar go at it though.
Take Care.

Hey PJ!
We tried to go! We found the gym, but were 2 hours too early! :(
I checked the website and it said it was going on from 9am-10pm, so we stopped past on our way from Duke's (Milwaukee) to Ron's (Joliet) show and got there around 1pm, only to see the sign stuck to the door saying the doors wouldn't open til 3 pm!! Did they have that many fighters cancel??
It was a disappointment, we were hoping to get to visit with you for a little while. Pete didn't write down your contact info before we left...
What a "memorable" trip down Hwy 50 though just to get there.... We took the "scenic route". one of the neighborhoods was quite interesting... the bars on the windows and doors, the inability to read any of the signs, the homeless walking up to the cars at the stop lights.... Even saw a one legged man on crutches standing in between the lanes of traffic while they were moving, asking for change. Very enlightening for a small town girl from the cornfields of "podunk" iowa. :p
we'll eventually make it work to have time to visit!!! ;)

Pam,
Sorry that we couldn't have all met up. They changed the fights to two nighttime events. It worked out pretty well.
