Anthony is "Defending his ISKA World Middleweight Full Contact Title???
That's funny, because Anthony never won the iska world title.
WHEN did iska strip Eric Regan of this title?
He still holds it according to the iska web site;

http://www.iska.com/kickboxing/ratings/weight11_15.htm (http://www.iska.com/kickboxing/ratings/weight11_15.htm)

Did anyone contact Eric or his trainer Nasser Niavaroni of this?

Sounds like another BAD STRIP like they did with Randy Pogue.

So... Nothings changed with them...

it may not even be an iska title though. iska has a habit of placing events on their events page that they have nothing to do with, such as k-1, just to make the apperance they have a lot going on, and we all know, they don't.

iska doesn't even have anthony ranked, anywhere.
They have Eric Regan as their "LISTED" Full Contact Middleweight World champion, yet they can't even spell his name correctly.
http://www.iska.com/kickboxing/ratings/weight11_15.htm
They have several retired fighters in the middleweight range such as;
Melvin Murray, Dave Marinoble, Russell Franklin and Brian Schwartz just to name a few. They have several fighters listed several times to fill their rankings. Not to mention, they mix ALL rule styles together to make their rankings.
Ok, enough said. Did we say all this out loud...

I think I remember reading or hearing somewhere a while back, that the ISKA was stripping Regan of his title. He has gone full scale to boxing and has no intention of kickboxing again - unless he gets an outrageous amount of money to do so, which ain't gonna happen. He hasn't done a kickboxing fight in 4-5 years or so, I believe.

ISKA is the worst sanctioning body in terms of organization. No rankings, multiple fighters holding the same title, and no updated info on their events leads me to believe that they could care less about the sport and more about the $$. :(

Several questions come to mind for me: 1) Can Bartinelli make weight? 2) Why has he not defended his IKF Middleweight Title? 3) How does someone get that Title without fighting for it? 4) Will the Bartinelli camp answer these questions?
I would like to hear about the answers............please respond!!

Too bad everyone is retiring.
I think they fear Peyton.
I wish the ISKA would get off their a$$es and fix their website.
I mean I am not saying the IKF has the best or coolest website, but it is updated and I can use it...and I am DUMB when it comes to computers, so when I get on the ISKA thing I feel even dumber than I should. right? right?

I don't have any idea who this Jens cat is, but Bartinelli can't fight well outside his hometown, and might not make weight anyway. I'll go for $100 on Jens. Any takers?

Yes, that’s strange, to say the least. The poster on the ISKA events page presents that bout as a fight for the “World middleweight full contact title” (without saying it's the ISKA title) and Lintow and Bartinelli as respectively the European and the world champion (without saying ISKA European and world champions) and, on the other hand, their rankings pages still presents Eric Regan as the ISKA middleweight world champion. But everybody knows their website is an unbelievable mess : I remember they kept rating Andy Hug more than one year after his death.
I don't know Lintow, so I couldn't take the bet.

All this mess with the ISKA announcement of a world championship where the world champion is not even the guy they rank as such confirms that maybe the IKF is not perfect (who is ?) but it is much better organised than many other federations. Just to give you another example of how serious some of them are, have a look at the site of the WKN Germany http://www.fightsports.de/wkn/aktuelles/ergebnisse/ergebnisse.php. You will see that there was a kickboxing event in Kiel, Germany, on October 22 with a fight in “oriental rules” between Marcus Krebes and Martin Jahn, which Krebes won by TKO. Now, if you go a bit further on the same page, you see that there had been another event in Cottbus, Germany, on October 9 with a bout for the German full contact title between R. Teuber and M. Krebes, which Teuber won by KO. It’s the same Markus Krebes (see the report of the evening on the news page of the federation http://www.fightsports.de/wkn/aktuelles/news/news.php. Sorry, it’s in German). So, Krebes was knocked out on October 9 and 13 days later (not even 2 weeks) he was allowed to fight again by the same federation and in the same country.
This being said, it’s not perfect in the States either : after the Dallas WCL tournament, where Stephen Thompson inflicted to his opponent James Decore one of the most devastating KOs I have seen in years, the website of the Texas Athletic Commission announced a 30-days suspension for Thompson and a 7-days one for Decore and it lasted nearly 10 days before the mistake was corrected. If Decore had been crazy enough to fight another bout the week-end following his Dallas nap, he would have perfectly been able to do so.

I will take the bet.
I will bet Randy Pogue $100 that Bartinelli wins in Germany.
If it is over 10 rounds I bet Bartinelli even drops this dude a couple times.
But anyway..Mr. Pogue do you accept?

I don't care how many times he knocks his opponent down. He can't get the job done on the road. You're on. Do I still win if Knucklehead doesn't make weight?

No, this is if the fight happens. So if the train is late in Dusseldorf or wherever, and he doesn't make it, it isn't a bet. He and Deutchman must be in the ring fighting for it to be on. DQ's don't count either. Straight up fight with a victor in any form. dec, unan dec, KO, TKO.
Further stipulation for the bet.
When I win, I want my money in the form of a $100 bill in a Quanza (sp?) holiday card that says..."happy Quanza Jason from the loser of our bet, Randy Pogue"
Are you IN? Any stips if you win (which you won't)
Randy Pogue

Ok. I'm with you on the whole broken train thing, but I still think I should win if he doesn't make weight. If, however, he doesn't make weight and they fight anyway, ala Diego Corrales, I'm not paying out if Bartinelli wins.
Stipulations?? Do you mean like, as you hand me my $100, you also swear on a stack of bibles that you will no longer continue to selfishly manipulate people for your own personal gain and/or enjoyment? I'd be happy to add that stipulation, but you haven't stuck to it in the past, so why should I think it would work this time? I probably won't even see the money.
Ok fine. My stipulation is that when I win, your signature on the message board will become, "Randy Pogue tried to keep me from being a loser, but I wouldn't believe him. Why wouldn't I believe him?"

UMMMMM....ok,
However if he doesn't make weight no bet. I am not betting on Bartinelli's eating and dieting habits. I am betting on him winning this fight if it is an official fight.
I will pay, and add your signature for one month IF I lose. I won't make you put one up a new signature when I win....if I did it would say.."Bartinelli owes me a $100, but I won't do that. A Kwanza, Christmas, or Hannakah, or birthday card with my cash will be fine.
The ONE point of truth in your missive is you saying "you probably won't even see the money". This is true because I will be seeing your money.

Randy and Jason: Just send me $100.00 each and I will be the money holder. Then I will send the $200 to the winner. Just kidding..... On a more serious note, I agree with Randy, Bartinelli does not fight well when he is not at home and making weight for him will be difficult. And if he does make weight, he will lose some of his power...which may hurt him in the fight. But with all the "Creation of his Title" makes me believe something is going on behind the scenes with the ISKA organization, just a thought. Just sounds fishy.
Randy, I do wish you well in all of your upcoming fights and I hope you get a shot at a World Title, you deserve it!!!! And who would you like to fight next?
