Are there any more sacramento area kickboxers? There were a bunch of tough guys in the area a few years ago. Jack Stearns, Mike Dougherty, Eric Regan, Greg Kirkpatrick, Dave Marinoble, and more. What do we got now? Elledge I see his name out there. Any other kickboxers from this area? Seems like it all died out. What do we got out there? What's going on?

Where are all the Sactown tough guys?

Ethan Nutter, Jim Brown, Brett Spaid, Dominic Robles. There is some more local guys who was making us proud a few years ago. The Big Kahuna Alexio himself came out of the Sactown & Vacaville area. Ramona Gatto used to be around a lot. Juan Torres ain't exactly ours he's from Tahoe but he used to come around for some training.

I think there are 3 gyms in the Sac. area that have been around for a while. I don't know if new ones have popped up lately.

We got lots of tough guys at Marinobles gym in Roseville. Stop in and check us out on a Monday or Wednsday night! We got a undefeated light middle weight, and some great newcomers you dont wanna get hit by.

Please Hammer don't hurt me! You ain't quite as fast as you used to be, looks like it took you about 6 months to respond. Maybe you were busy with the surreal life or running that church. Do you wear those pajama pants when you kickbox? Or only when you dance?

So you got all the tough guys over at your gym? How come you don't write down any names. "Great newcomers" you say? Yeah, well that don't answer the questions.

There are only a few "REAL" Kickboxing gyms to learn Kickboxing in the Sacramento region. There are plenty of "Cardio Karate/Kickboxing" gyms that claim they teach "REAL" Kickboxing, but DON'T! So be careful when listening to sales pitches.

Niavaroni's
These guys use to be big into kickboxing, but now mainly focus on boxing.
They still have some good kickboxers though. They are in Roseville, CA.

Johnny Davis also teaches a class in Rocklin, CA, but we don't think he has started teaching full contact fighters yet.

If you are unsure of a school, please e-mail us and we can inform you of what we know about them. Again, there are a lot of schools, gyms etc. that "CLAIM" to teach actual "Sport Kickboxing" but very few do, all around the USA. For more info on this go to;

I would say that 10 yrs. ago there was a lot more kickboxing going on in the general area. There used to be local shows in Sac. and Roseville and Auburn and Redding etc., etc. Now I ain't seeing much of it. Marinoble's seems to still put out a few kickboxers. It doesn't seem like there are a whole lot coming out of my gym or Niavaroni's. But if I'm wrong, my apologies. I don't know everything that is going on out there. I'm mostly involved with boxing these days.

Well I wouldn't want to go and advertise for any other gyms besides my own but I think there is a gym called hits or hitz, since admin is speaking of actual kickboxing gyms. Maybe there are others, once again I don't claim to know it all.

There's some kickboxing supposedly this weekend on the undercard of the pro boxing at the Radisson. Anybody know who is in those kickboxing fights?
