What did folks think of "The Contender?" I think the fighters are better & the show is better than "The Next Great Champ" & "Ultimate Fighter."

It was pretty good, too bad they don't kick though .

I hate......hate...when they don't show the entire fight. I have not seen the ultimate fighter, but I heard they show the entire fight, which is more attractive to me as a fight fan.

I agree w/ you Geek. They should show the whole fight. And there's nothing like a boot to the head!

I just found out about The Contender this past week, someone asked me if we watched it. We make sure and catch "The Ultimate Fighter" on Spike TV. A couple of the weeks the shows/fights were pretty weak, but this last one wasn't too bad, and the fact that they brought Chris back on the show was very interesting. Someone told me they were told Couture had it all rigged and is the one that got Chris on the show and he would win it all. I didn't believe it when Chris got booted but now they bring him back..........

Anybody going to Vegas to see the re-match between Courture and Liddell? That would be awesome to see! At least we have PPV! LOL

The Contender is an excellent show. The reason that they aren't showing the entire fight is because they're trying to appeal to the masses not just fight fans. This show is much better than the Next Great Champ or The Ultimate Fighter. You've got to check it out.
