Brian Schwartz is totally correct. There should be seperation of Church and State always.

Hammer, what Christian values are you talking about? No offense, but read some history and realize that religious freedom was key to the founding fathers. When the first Muslim in congress was sworn in. Whose Koran did he use? It was Thomas Jefferson's. I am not saying that they weren't christian, but they totally valued religious freedom. Does the Constitution or Declaration of Ind. mention Christ anywhere? No.

Also a little more regulation may have helped this financial mess so someone making 20 k a year wouldn't have been allowed to buy a 400k house. Now my son is going to have to pay off the lack of regulation.
Now, I don't think McCain is a bad guy, I think he is an awesome guy, but it is time to clean up the mess that we have made during the last 8 years.

As to Randy Pogue's title of the thread, I totally don't agree and think it is offensive, but I do realize he has been hit in the head a lot and realize people from his older generation still don't realize how to use PC words.

Geek, it wasn't Republicans that started giving out garbage loans. W wasn't in office in the late 90's. And our new president is not talking about a "little" regulation.

Oh, and as far as the compound goes. We have electricity, running water, a hospital, a 7-11, two nudey bars, a zoo, oh dude it's crazy.
