Hey Fernando, thanks for giving the people on this board some entertainment.
Did you have fun out-pointing a guy who hasn't been in the ring in two years? Can't find any fights, huh? Gee, that's really too bad. Guys are fighting all over the world in in FCR, IR, MMA, & boxing, but all of them are too scared to fight you, is that right? 'Cause you're the real deal, and no one wants to mess with you, I guess. Amazing. Throughout a desired weight spread of over 20 lbs, from 147-170, which coincidentally makes up a huge percentage of the fighting population, no one will fight you. Weird. Here's an idea... pick up the phone. There's fights all over the USA listed on the IKF events page. Call all the promoters and get on one, girlfriend. Call the ISKA, WKA, and the USKBA. Get a fight. Try boxing some. Theres a half-dozen boxing cards in Texas alone in the next few months. Get on it. The truth is you don't fight because you don't want to fight. You'd rather cry on here about it and talk about how everyone is scared of you. I tried to be respectful the first time around, but the alarms from both my spidey-sense and my bulls#*t meter are deafening me, so I've gotta let you know. Speaking of bull..., let me get this straight. Your "natural" weight is 147, but you'd be "willing" to come up to 169? Is that the junk you're putting out here? You're a "NATURAL" 147 pounder, but with 12 days notice you couldn't get your fat caboose under 180? Not only that, but it sounds like you didn't tell ANYONE what your weight was, and instead forced them to replace you AFTER the weigh-in. Don't bother explaining. I really don't think you coming on here with "You see, what happened was..." will help you out any. You can hide behind whatever excuse you want, guys are scared, they won't pay enough... whatever, baby girl. I'm not buying it for one minute. If you wanted to fight, you'd be doing it. Meet me at 170 anytime, anywhere. I don't care how much the pay is, hell, I'll fight you for $100/round if it will shut you up. As a matter of fact, you can wait 'til the last minute to tell me about it. As long as I've got time to make the weight, I'm not worried about being in shape, I'm not worried about my record, and I'm not worried about winning or losing. I'm concerned with fighting, because I enjoy martial arts. So stop coming on here complaining about not fighting, and try coming on here telling people where you'll be fighting next. "Blah, blah, blah, let's fight." APB

Hey Guys, what a stir up LOL. I am really bummed about not being able to fight but with pnemonia and bronchitas it would not have bn a smart decision. Randy, I think you took an offer to step up from Fernando as an insult to Zack. I have known Fernando since he was 14 years old and we trained together for years. He is a top notch athlete and no matter if he is a natural 147 pounder I think he would hang with you just fine! I am taking Fernando to England in May for a World Title with the WKU against highly regarded George Pattision. Randy, you are so hung up on this weight thing. Does it really matter that much? IMHO when a fighter has a long career their weight can change and develop. Remeber you were saying that crap about me and you must remember my first pro fight was at 118 pounds in 1984 for a wka title. Anyway, I wish the event and fighters the best of luck and hopefully Zack and I can work out a match soon. Respectfully,
David ![]()

sounds more like a world cry baby instead. now everyone, be ready for randy to come back and say, 'at least i don't hide behind a made up name' or 'what have you accomplished chump?' or 'i will fight you mr media pig' or whatever his clever little political, democratic lovin mind can come up with. give these guys a break pogie, at least they are getting noticed by getting out in front of everyone. just a nobody fan. ![]() |

and just so you dont think im hiding pogie, my real name is Mark Sellers and i live in New York. i was a ho hum amateur fighter in the 80's, no big champion like you.
as for my nick name, i used mr media because of my job. i'm a Media Buyer for several Ad Agencies that work with print and tv advertising. so, i guess since im not in the ring, im just a nobody here. fernando, i hope you and randy hook up, it would be worth the drive to come watch that one. |

David,
It wasn't his offer to step up that bugged me, it was his comment "DESPITE WHAT THAT RANDY GUY LIES ABOUT," combined with him showing up at a fight 30lbs. overweight. Honestly David, I'm not really hung up on weight. There's just no reason a guy can't find fights in ANY rules style from 147-170lbs. That's just silly. I'll take your word for it as far as Pattison goes, so I'll bet Geek $50 that George wins in a landslide... assuming that Ferdinand even shows up... and makes weight.

Fergie,
Whatever, dude. Listen, if Rob wants to pony up for you to fly out on the 18th, I'll take it. Can you make 170, fatty? As far as "has-been" vs. "never-was", my list of "accomplishments" is right up there with yours, both here and internationally, so I'm not sure what you're talking about. The only difference is that my record consists of wins and losses against men, not a collection of 12-15 year olds in Asia. I'm in the twilight of my career, just like you, only I always make weight, and I'm alot prettier than you. And what's with "THIS SO CALLED HALL OF FAME KICKBOXER LOSER?" Whoever said I deserve to be in someone's Hall of Fame? Are you feeling ok? I think maybe you need to back off the Twinkies and take a few deep breaths. As far as Griffin, "HIS BAD?" What the hell is that? You leave a promoter sitting on the cost of plane tickets and whatever else, show up three weight classes too high, and when they find someone willing to keep it from being a total loss, you say "that guy shouldn't have stepped in the ring with me." Show some class. Sort it out, supercool. There's no shortage of fighters, in the IKF alone, who will fight you. Stop whining and make the calls, if you really want to fight.

Mr. Media,
I don't get it. No, as a matter of fact, I don't do that. I didn't start out bashing Fernando. I was supportive of him. I thought we had a perfectly fine dialogue. He decided to come on and called me a liar, so off me. Also, I haven't EVER been the guy who complains about people hiding behind fake names. I think the old board was a little bit more fun that way. Nor have I EVER felt the need to turn an online argument into a fight. Fighting and online arguing are completely different. My beating you in the ring wouldn't make me win the argument. You may not even be a fighter, so I'm perfectly happy dealing with this right here. This particular argument that you jumped in on happens to be ABOUT fighting, which is why Fernando and I are talking about making the match. And lastly, finally, I'm well aware of the "getting noticed" thing. Do you think I really care that Calleros thinks I'm a liar? I started my reply to him by saying thanks for the entertainment. How much action has this board been seeing lately? Not much. At least this is something people might find entertaining. So again, Media, off me, or I'll get someone who can fight to beat you up. Someone bigger than me, like Ronnie Copeland. And again, you don't need to be a fighter to make valid points, so it doesn't matter who or when you fought.
