Im the one that said that Ray's arm (left arm!) ended up around the back of Stephen's neck all the way from the time Stephen's right foot was on the C of WCL all the way up to the edge of the mat.. And the way he was holding Stephen for that period of time turned Stephen's body sideways which made him trip and fall.. Maybe you need to watch it again..

IMHO, it looks like thompson was doing his patented blitz. daniels appeared to swing his left hand but it didnt land solid , but on the side/back of thompsons neck . he should have then retracted his arm but he kept pressure on and DID push him in a downward motion. its clear as day. i know that me saying this makes no difference in the outcome, but it appears that the "hold and push down" was intentional , but to injure him was not. It looked like an easy way out, if thompson had not been hurt im almost certain that the reff would not have taken a point away , so it was an easy way to get set back up ,heads up.instead of daniels on the backpedal.
