In 2008 Shannon and his wife Heather founded 9Round Fitness & 9Round
Franchising. With 9Round they bring the
exceptional quality that kickbox training provides to the public, without the
hassle of getting hit, which appeals to the average person. As a specialized
fitness center, 9Round's brings kickboxing
fitness training to the average person in a convenient, affordable, 30-minute,
full body circuit format.
Unlike a lot of "Fitness"
Kickboxing programs, 9Round's is developed
by Professional Kickboxer and Boxer Shannon "The Cannon"
Hudson himself. Shannon brings to the workouts actual "Fight"
experience and what it takes to become a World Champion Kickboxer. The program
is developed around a proprietary and copyrighted system of nine challenging
workout stations, all done in a 30-minute, full body circuit format. As of today
(1-5-17), there are 450 9Round
clubs open and operating throughout 40 states and nine countries which include
the USA of course, but also Canada, Mexico, Australia, New Zealand, Saudi
Arabia, Jordan, United Kingdom and Japan -
Shannon and Heather
live in Simpsonville, South Carolina and have two children, Elana & Jackson.

This past spring Shannon came out with his book,
Zero to 100: The Blood, Sweat, and Tears of Building a Fitness
Chain from Idea to 100 Locations
He wrote the book in 18 months, all
while continuing to grow 9Round into a
global brand. His passion and vision leaps off the pages as he details the
various twists and turns, and ups and downs he faced while getting 9Round to where it is today, as well as the benefits
of investing in a franchise system. It shares how he and wife, Heather
used every penny they could find to turn an idea for a fitness center into a
profitable business with one hundred locations in only five years. He reveals
how they built 9Round Fitness into a
booming business. His "Knockout Nuggets" of wisdom can also be
found at the end of each chapter and range from
First" to "Evolve or Die.""
The book is available on Amazon, Google Books, Wallmart and of
course, at all the 9Round locations. On
Kindle it became a best seller in less than three hours.
