Event Requirements For IKF Promoter
These Are General Requirements
Keep In Mind There Are MANY MORE As An event Promoter.

  1. Promoter shall provide fighting gloves for each fighter. 3 pairs of 8 ounce gloves and 3 pairs of 10 ounce gloves. This could vary depending upon the fighters weights. This will prevent long waits between bouts for gloving up and provide an additional pair in case someone cuts the gloves or laces or a pair is damaged in a bout. For PRO events with title bouts, a promoter shall have more.
  2. Gloves must be approved by the IKF representative at the event. If you do not have gloves, or need gloves, Ask the IKF Headquarters for the possibility of supplying gloves for your event.
  3. Gloves shall be whole, clean, in sanitary condition and subject to inspection by the referee or the IKF representative at the event. Any gloves found to be unfit shall be immediately discarded and replaced with gloves meeting the above requirements.
  4. ALL Pro WORLD Title bout Gloves MUST be "NEW".
  5. On an event that will feature Full Contact Rule bouts, A red and a blue set of kick counter cards measuring 12" x 12" must be provided by the promoter. Each set will have 8 cards numbering 1 through 8.
  6. Oxygen and stretcher at ringside for medical emergencies.
  7. The Required IKF Ringside Officials. To see these, click HERE. These Ringside Officials must be approved by the IKF for their qualifications, skill and ability.
  8. Ring cards and ring girls/guys to display to the crowd which round the bout is in.
  9. 2, 4 x 8 (Sometimes smaller where room is not available) tables on each side of the ring (8 total) and chairs for event officials.
  10. A minimum of two separate spaces for fighters to warm-up in.
  11. Ice to offer all trainers/fighters.
  12. Ring Announcer
  13. Title belts and other awards.
  14. Event security.
  15. All additional needs to support an event, venue, fighters, hotel rooms etc. Contact the IKF if these areas are un-clear.
  16. To Pay ALL PRO Purses to the IKF Representative or Associate directly after the event weigh-ins and before the Official event Rules meeting in CASH or CERTIFIED Checks made out to each PRO Fighter. The Weigh-ins and Rules Meeting should both be scheduled on the same day but do not have to be. The Official IKF Event representative shall hold all fight purses and distribute them to all pro fighters AFTER the event.
  17. At the end of your event, please be sure to pay all your officials and IKF Event Representative in CASH or CERTIFIED Checks. Pay everyone their wage for working your event and any travel fees they may have (Gas, food, hotel etc.)

PLEASE DO NOT
Force your Officials to sit around and WAIT for you to pay them or for them to approach you to be paid. No one likes to ask for their money. BE RESPONSIBLE and PROFESSIONAL and make sure you pay your officials IMMEDIATELY after your event. They worked hard to make your event possible.
Thank You.
